The Secretary of State for the European Union, Fernando Sampedro, has participated in the General Affairs Council held in Luxembourg.

During the meeting, the European Affairs Ministers of the Member States discussed preparations for the next European Council, which will be held in Brussels this week, and the defence of democracy.
