The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, takes part in the European Council, 17 October

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, has taken part in the European Council held in Brussels, in which the twenty-seven Member States discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, migration and competitiveness, among other issues.

Pedro Sánchez defended the Spanish Government's coherent position on these issues, based on European values, and stressed that Spain is facing the challenges head on, ‘with a clear vision, leadership and courage’.
